Dining & Social

"As a member I have used the club for parties, large and small.  I have used it for celebrations and even a wedding.  There is no better venue in St. Louis.  We have the most unique, quaint or intimate setting for any kind of event.  We have an extremely capable coordinator and  experienced staff to manage any party and a chef capable of cooking everything from simple to gourmet meals."

Dining

The Club delivers exceptional meals from simple, yet perfect, fried chicken, to tantalizing multi-course meals that please the eyes and palette of the most discriminating diners.  Our classically- trained Chef spent time as the executive chef in the kitchens of several acclaimed restaurants before joining Strathalbyn.

Whether the event requires elegant plated meals with fine china, or a casual buffet set in a picnic style, the Club can accommodate the seating, décor, and service requirements necessary for a memorable event in a very unique setting.

The unique indoor and outdoor spaces of the Club and skilled kitchen staff deliver memorable meals for both small, intimate groups and large receptions.

Social

The Club hosts dinner for members and their guests every Sunday evening as well as several holidays throughout the year, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Mother’s Day. The traditions of fireworks at the Battle of Gumbo Flats (Memorial Day) and the Strathenfest Oom-pah band draw large crowds every year and are family favorites. The Annual Wine Dinner, which pairs exceptional wines with a unique, seasonal menu, creates a memorable date-night (but be careful, the friends you invite will ask to be invited every year!)

For private events, the Club offers an expansive menu from which the host can select meal options, or the chef will happily prepare any off-menu meal requested by the host (including bringing in grandma’s special recipes!)

Even if there is not a planned event, an afternoon at the Club can provide an exceptional opportunity to meet new friends and renew old friendships while chatting by the fencepost, riding the trails, or shooting skeet.
